It is helpful for teachers to understand the program, but in most cases, classroom teachers are not implementing it. There are no new requirements placed on the classroom teacher. We actually lessen the load on teachers. We offer some suggestions on lessons teachers can consider to help reinforce the skill training and character development. We require the school to designate a lead person to oversee implementation. The person(s) overseeing the lab will need to do a limited amount of training in order to ensure the program is properly implemented and to help students as needed. This training can typically be completed in 2-3 hours of reviewing tutorials and experiencing the training.
Optionally, the classroom teacher can introduce the program to the whole class and can assist with character development.
