Welcome to the tutorial for Delayed Math.


Numbers will be presented on the screen or heard. Based upon the instructions, students will perform a math function using these numbers and provide the answer. They will have to remember previous numbers as well as the current number(s).


Skills trained:

Major: comprehension, VP-manipulation, working memory

Minor: selective attention, VP-discrimination, divided attention, processing speed, logic and reasoning


When you first click to begin any exercise, you will see the instruction screen. These instructions change for each level. There is a link to play an audio version of the instructions if needed.


Otherwise click OK to go to the next screen. On the next screen, click start to begin the exercise.


Below are the instructions for level 1.





Once you have read and understand the instructions, click the OK button to start.


You will be provided with your first number to use to calculate your first answer. The program won’t start until you hit the Start Round button, but you do need to remember this first number.


When ready to begin, click the Start Round button.
