The Gibson Test includes seven sub-tests: 1) processing speed, 2) memory (working and long-term), 3) word attack, 4) visual processing, 5) auditory processing (two sub-tests) and 6) logic and reasoning. It takes about 35-40 minutes to complete the assessment. Results are available to administrators upon completion.
Process steps
- School applies to gsmith.trsm@gmail.com.
- School designates lead person.
- Lead person reviews the materials and takes the assessment so they understand the process. They familiarize themselves with the administrative system. A local agent will provide training, or in cases where a local agent is not available, remote training is available through the school’s account representative.
- One or a few students are tested to ensure the labs are set up correctly for testing, and to make sure the websites can be accessed and a current version of Adobe Flash is loaded.
- Students are registered. Tutorial.
- Assessment is scheduled and administered to groups of students in the lab or individually as needed.
- Test results are available in the administrative system upon completion of the assessment.
